The Sports & Entertainment Group CEO and Principal Founder Adisa Bakari participated as a panelist at the 2nd Annual City National Bank Pro Sports Business Management Summit on May 9, 2019 in New York, NY.
City National Bank invited key industry leaders and experts in the ever-changing professional sports industry. On a panel titled “The Changing Dynamics in the Agency Business Model,” Adisa Bakari shared his professional perspective on the agency business model and professional athlete representation. Adisa discussed his advocacy and position as a staunch supporter of clients during contract negotiations, with particular regard to recent negotiation between the New York Jets and NFL star veteran running back and client, Le’Veon Bell. With nearly two decades of professional athlete representation experience and contract negotiation expertise, Adisa also offered insight into the upcoming Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and the likely impact on future player contract negotiations.
