STEFON DIGGS PRESENTS BLACK ON THE BLOCK: A UNIQUE MARKETPLACE FOR BLACK-OWNED BUSINESSES

After seeing the enthusiasm Black on the Block generated in Los Angeles, with the support of the Downtown DC Business Improvement District, Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs teamed up with the event’s creators to bring Black on the Block to the nation’s capital, Washington, DC.
The event hosted 100 vendors from the DC area and across the East Coast, a collection of businesses that attracted some 5,000 patrons over the course of the day.
For Stefon, “it’s about paying it forward and creating a new lane. [It’s] something for everyone to be displayed and show off their talents. It’s an amazing opportunity to celebrate and network.”
